Howliday for iPhone · Published by Brojas LLC · Effective October 24, 2026

The short version: Howliday is free to play. It has no ads (and never will), no accounts, and no analytics, crash reporting or tracking. We don't collect, store, sell or share your personal information. Your progress stays on your phone. When you race online, the game sends only a name you choose for the race, your pup's breed and coat, and your taps to our race server so the other players can see your pup. The server keeps them in memory only for that race and doesn't save them.

Who we are

Howliday is made and published by Brojas LLC ("we", "us"). Questions? Email support@brojas.com.

What stays on your phone

The game saves a few small files inside its own app storage on your device. We can't see them.

Deleting the app deletes all of this. Some iPhones include app data in iCloud or device backups, and Apple handles those under its own policies.

Online races

Climb, Endless and Race vs Bots never go online. Online and Private party races connect to our race server over an encrypted connection (wss://). During an online race, your phone sends:

WhatWhy
The name you choose for the race, your pup's breed and its coatSo everyone in your room sees your pup and name. Other players can see this name, so please don't use your real name.
Your jumps and taps, room choices (quick race, party code, start, bots on or off, leave) and the holidayTo run the race and keep every player's screen in sync.
A random session token the server gives youSo a dropped connection can rejoin as the same player.
Timing pingsTo keep everyone's clocks in sync.

The race server keeps all of this in memory only while you're connected or your room exists. It doesn't write it to a database or to log files, and nothing is linked to your identity. We don't receive your device ID, contacts, location or Apple account.

The connection runs through Cloudflare, our network provider. Like any internet service, Cloudflare handles your device's IP address so the connection can reach our server. It does this under its own privacy policy. Our race server doesn't receive or keep your IP address.

What we don't do

Children

Howliday is made for everyone, kids included. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The only thing other players see is the name you choose for the race, shown during an online race and never stored on our server. Parents: help your child pick a fun name instead of a real one, or stick to Climb, Endless and Race vs Bots, which never go online. If you think your child shared something they shouldn't have, email us. We hold nothing to delete, but we're glad to help.

Your choices and rights

You can change your online name at any time in the race lobby, and remove all saved data by deleting the app. We don't keep personal information about you, so we have nothing to access, correct, export or delete on our side. If you live somewhere with privacy laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, you can still contact us with any request and we'll respond.

Changes

If the game ever starts handling information differently, for example by adding crash reports, we'll update this page and the date at the top before that version ships. We'll also update the app's privacy details on the App Store.
